I was pretty excited to find this podcast, but I just couldn’t listen to the AI reader. I tried more than one book. Give me a human narrating any day. I cannot recommend this podcast in good conscience.
I’m trying to find basic information describing the books but those extensive AI-generated compilations of random cliche phrases that have nothing directly to do with the particular book make it impossible to reasonably choose which book to listen to. I shouldn’t have to look up every book title on the internet.
It reflects badly on a literary podcast to present such truly awful writing by a machine that sounds like it’s trying to produce a substandard public relations press release.

This is a great podcast, and every now and then I will play one of these books as I fall asleep at night.
However, the only thing that bothers me is the description of the books. I like that there is a “description,” but it sounds too AI. When I click on the book, I would like to see a summary.
