  • Good podcast, annoying marketing

The hosts are great and the content is *usually* okay. My complaint is every day they push a “bonus” episode, which auto downloads, that is actually another podcast completely unrelated to Vegas. I’m sure they get money or something for it, but SUPER annoying.

  • Local topics with biased political agenda

This podcast has great potential but it’s just too much political bias. State facts on both sides and move on please…

Crypto Kiosk Scams, Protecting Ash Meadows, and Pups on a Plane
Q: What's happening with Ash Meadows and why does it matter?
There is a push to designate surrounding lands as a national conservation area to limit development near Ash Meadows, protecting water and habitat amid competing interests.
Crypto Kiosk Scams, Protecting Ash Meadows, and Pups on a Plane
Q: Why are these kiosks particularly vulnerable to scams?
Because crypto transactions are fast, often irreversible, and anonymity makes it hard to recover funds, especially when fraudsters pose as trusted figures.
Crypto Kiosk Scams, Protecting Ash Meadows, and Pups on a Plane
Q: What exactly are crypto kiosks and how do they work?
They are machines that exchange cash for cryptocurrency, operating like ATMs, but they route funds to scammers when victims are pressured to transfer money under false pretenses.
Could Nevada Have Its Own Zohran Mamdani?
Q: So Matt, what races are DSA candidates running in? Who's challenging who? Give us the rundown.
Val Thomason is challenging Venise Caris in Assembly District 10, and Sean Navarro is challenging Hanadi Nadim in Assembly District 34; both campaigns emphasize rent caps, ending corporate money, and Medicaid-for-All-style policies, using grassroots organizing to offset fundraising gaps.
The End of Vegas' Strangest Media Marriage
Q: What impact did Adelson's acquisition have on the Las Vegas Sun and its relationship with the RJ?
Adelson's takeover shifted priorities away from sustaining the Sun as a robust, independent newsroom; the Sun's print presence dwindled while many journalists moved on, shifting the balance and signaling a broader decline of the traditional two-paper model in Las Vegas.
