  • “Like”

It’s interesting content, especially what’s going on in DC this month, but every other word is “like.” Had to turn it off.

  • Great local coverage

I’m a pretty new listener but have really enjoyed breakdowns of hyper-local issues (like the impact of congress’ budget cuts to dc residents specifically).

However they push so many other podcasts into my feed that I’ve considered unsubscribing… a one off highlight of another pod is fine but the *same* other podcasts show up constantly, which is very annoying.

The fear created by the immigration crackdown led many workers to be afraid to go to work, resulting in staffing shortages and closures.
Fact Checking Trump’s Crime Emergency
Q: What are you watching for regarding the coordination between MPD and ICE?
There are questions surrounding the future relationship between federal law enforcement and MPD, especially regarding immigration enforcement in DC.
Fact Checking Trump’s Crime Emergency

All the GOP DC Bills — And Whether Eleanor Holmes Norton Is Up to Fighting Them
Q: What do you think the mayor could be doing to be more effective or is she sort of maxed out her effectiveness?
I think it's tough, because right now there are 535 members of Congress and one mayor, so she can't give every member time on their particular issues.
All the GOP DC Bills — And Whether Eleanor Holmes Norton Is Up to Fighting Them
Q: Is there anything in these measures that if, like, a DC council colleague had proposed it, you would think, like, that's okay, I might support that?
No, there are no measures that I would support among these bills.
