Enjoyable listen with knowledgable hosts. Usually not a lot of ‘what-YOU-up-to-this-week’ fluff or extraneous info, e.g., what was America’s most popular prom corsage flower that year?
However, when you discuss films with which you are CLEARLY uncomfortable, it can be a hard listen. So much apologizing for tone and content of films. So, I listened to the Scream/Cabin in the Woods and the Halloween episodes, and really appreciated the high level of discussion Myke and his cohosts had throughout both episodes. Some of the best horror criticism I've listened to; as a horror fan myself (those are three of my favorite movies!), I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'm sure they are equally in depth and funny in all of the episodes.
