  • Approachable and educational

I have been LOVING listening to this podcast. Aside from Pastor Schrock having a compelling radio voice and a tone of education, authority, and (most importantly) humility, he puts parts of the Bible and hot topics of the church into incredibly approachable and understandable language and context. Even if I don’t agree with his interpretations, he presents them in a way that makes me think, “Hmmm I don’t agree but I absolutely understand this point of view.”

Highly recommend to challenge and ex... more

  • Unbecoming

My first listen to this pod was the interview with Charles Lyons. His snarky, sarcastic language is unbecoming for a servant of Christ. I’m not sure why you guys would allow that on your show. Canceled.

  • Incremental Abortion podcast

I was very bothered by this podcast. It seems very progressive to say let’s just sin a bit less. A little is okay and not as bad. I understood the reasoning but it seemed full of man’s justification to promote that less abortion is progress. I will not be listening to your podcast any more. God wants us to take a firm stand against all murder of preborn babies.

  • My Theological and Ministry Philosophical Home

As one who grew up in spiritual maturity through the new Calvinism movement, I’ve always been thankful for ministries like Desiring God, T4G, The Gospel Coalition, founders, and grace to you. However, as a Reformed Southern Baptist who also affirms Progressive Covenantalism, I have found a new home to go to for the theological cultural engagement that comes from a framework that I align with. As not to say, the other ministries are of no value anymore. They are of great value, however, it is gre... more
