I'm a fan of Hadfield, but I'm afraid this will go down in history as a mis-step. The fact that Enbridge was the main sponsor should have been the tip off. I had to stop listening after episode 3 with an inferiating interview with the Enbridge CEO where she kept talking about "balance" being needed in energy sourcing, down playing renewables & praising gas. As Chris knows, atmosphereic physics doesn't care. She acted like storage tech for renewables didn't exist and Chris did not challenge her.
Very disappointed in Chris Hadfield and his green washing of industries that are very much responsible for the mess we are in today. He basically gives some bad actors a free pass allowing them to pretend that they are doing something noble. What sealed it for me was when the past CEO of Air Canada stated that he had no faith in electric only vehicles because, you know the electricity could “ just stop” with Mr. Hadfield not correcting him at all.
