Choral Chihuahua is a podcast in which British choral directors chat about things that matter to them: composers they love, points of technique, classic but also niche choral works, other groups and singers they admire. With a light touch, Eamonn Dougan, Robert Hollingworth and now also Nicholas Mulroy chew the choral cud about how (and why) you do it and what they've learnt along the way. Choral Chihuahua is brought to you by I Fagiolini and University of York Music and produced by Polyphonic Films. It's supported through your donations and I Fagiolini Charitable Trust. more

There is so much to admire in this series. I adore the insight and expertise encouched in a relaxed conversational style. The latest episode commenting that if one wishes to perform Monteverdi in lamé whilst suspended from the ceiling made me smile nearly as much as hearing the Whitacre selection again!
Very entertaining with lots of wonderful stories and yet full of useful information too. I’m firmly rooted in the none-I Fiagolini Factory Records tradition of A certain Ratio / Joy Division. I think that Robert massively underplayed just how cool being a a Factory artist was(albeit the classical artists never got their full deserts).Just checked and cassettes of his album currently £55 on Discogs! more
So engaging and witty. A total treat.
