There aren’t enough people doing Guillotine podcasts. I love hearing the fresh perspective for a format I have playing for 5+ years. Is there anywhere on socials (Twitter in particular) where we might be able to get additional info/takes for guillotine specific advice?

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S4E2: NFC North Breakdown and Youtube Debut Featuring Chuck bass
Q: What makes Caleb Williams an interesting quarterback to consider for Guillotine?
He is highly talented but inconsistently fits the early-round quarterback volatility in guillotine; however, if he lands in an offense that sustains high floor and big-play opportunities, he could push for value well into the mid rounds, especially in formats that reward efficiency and ceiling play.
S3E8: Scary Guillotine Starts and Sits, Featuring the Gridiron Greek!
Q: Which players stand out as scary starts this week and why is Lad McConkey a notable example?
Lad McConkey is a notable scary start due to a challenging matchup against the Miami Dolphins but with potential upside given volume and team context. The discussion centers on evaluating matchup strength, target share, and the feasibility of plugging a lower-owned player into a flex spot when playoff implications loom.
S3E8: Scary Guillotine Starts and Sits, Featuring the Gridiron Greek!
Q: What makes Wong teasers especially appealing in guillotine leagues, and how should a manager implement them in practice?
Wong teasers exploit key football numbers (three and seven) to tilt spreads in a favorable direction, with a strategy that pairs two teams and trades down or up by six points. In guillotine leagues this matters because covering spreads can keep more players alive longer, especially when you can cut or swap based on buy weeks and upcoming matchups.
S3E4 pt.1: Week 1 Guillotine Reaction with Ben Cummins!
Q: Why did you end up auto-drafting Shador Sanders in the guillotine league?
Ben explains it was a combination of drafting pressure and the desire to lock in depth, realizing later that relying on a quarterback who isn't playing can backfire in week one, especially in an 18-team format.
