  • Not a Comedy Show

I took a break from this show because I couldn’t stand the constant attempt at comedy and laughing at each other’s jokes. After more than six months I came back to try again and have listened to about a dozen and it’s still the same. These guys spend way too much time cracking each other up when we’re tuning in to hear fantasy football content. Don’t waste your time with Fantasy Pros, there are lots of great shows with serious content.

  • Sooo Many Ads

Fancy pros podcasts are the worst for having ad after ad after ad, and long ads too. I understand they’re trying to make money, but it’s such a turn off. I’d much rather listen to other podcast and not be berated with ads.

The Mid-Round Cheat Code for 2026 Fantasy Football Drafts | 6 Must-Have Targets For Your Squad (Ep. 2089)
Q: Jake, where do you have Tyson ranked right now?
I have Tyson ranked around wide receiver 30, with upside to move higher if his offense hits, but I also acknowledge Chicago and Seattle as other possible destinations for breakout targets; his floor is solid as a high-end WR3 in year one.
The Mid-Round Cheat Code for 2026 Fantasy Football Drafts | 6 Must-Have Targets For Your Squad (Ep. 2089)
Q: All right, Jake, who's your first mid-round must-have?
My pick is Jordan Tyson as the first rookie wideout to target in this range, given the clear path to meaningful targets and a role that could grow quickly if the Saints offense supports a young playmaker. He's the safest of the rookies discussed, with the potential for substantial target volume if the second-year quarterback improves and the offense stays efficient.
NFL Futures: Best MVP, OPOY, DPOY, and Rookie of the Year Bets for 2026 (Ep. 2059)
Q: Which rookie of the year bets look most promising?
Fernando Mendoza is highlighted as the favorite for Offensive Rookie of the Year due to quarterback-driven offense and starting consideration, with Brock Bowers discussed as a long-shot potential due to his receiving versatility and high ceiling in a favorable offensive scheme.
NFL Futures: Best MVP, OPOY, DPOY, and Rookie of the Year Bets for 2026 (Ep. 2059)
Q: What are the hosts' top bets for MVP and why?
They favor Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert as the best outright bets among the favorites, citing healthy trajectories, offense-centered narratives, and strong schedules as key drivers of value, while acknowledging potential timing (early-season bets) to maximize odds.
12 HIGH-UPSIDE Fantasy Football Draft Picks | Target These Sleepers or Avoid the Risk? (Ep. 2013)
Q: How should fantasy managers approach Alec Pierce given the questions around his quarterback and offense?
Pierce is considered a solid Wide Receiver 2 with upside in the right situation; many hosts suggest drafting him around WR3 range if the cost is reasonable and the rest of the roster supports a high-upside strategy.
