I cannot believe this podcast has existed for years and I never knew! I loved Chewing the Fat and thought it simply ended. Loved it so much I went back to listen to the Lunar New Year episode, and did a specific search for the episode in which you tasted international potato chip flavors. Thats when I found Chewing! So thrilled to hear you two together again, talking about my favorite topic: food. Keep up the great work!!!
I liked the trip interview because it highlighted for me the rivalry, real or staged, between Monica and Louisa. Monica, confident, flirty, with a habit of lingering on the gross or funky aspects of food and eating. Tough but with a with a fragile ego. Louisa, disciplined, authoritative and pedantic about Chinese food, with a bit of an older sister, critical attitude towards Monica.
