As a 57 year old chess improver the podcast had been both inspirational and motivational to my development. It’s great to hear how other people are going through the same difficulties as I am, whist trying to manage chess study around my family commitments and my job. Lots of great tips and book recommendation's to help any improver progress thank you from myself and all adult improvers. 👍

Really been enjoying this show, particularly with the skill and experience range of the guests with an affable host sitting somewhere in the middle of that range. Also, Dr Scull is one of the all time great chess names probably only next to Grandmaster Krush.
Bruce Neal makes so much sense. I recently just got into chess at 45. I’m not delusional but I am so sick of the “you can’t do it culture.” I’d rather listen to reasons how you can then reasons why you can’t. Episode 24 with Kevin Perrera was great in 2021… bring him back!
This is best amateur chess podcast plus perpetual chess.
