Great show, great host, great guests.
Particularly enjoyed the shows with guests of a similar age to me as the nostalgia of remembering once loved video games that you'd somehow forgotten is charming.
These are fascinating, in-depth conversations with people in the games industries. The stories they tell are ones I haven't heard or read anywhere else. Worth a listen.
Well made and interesting podcast
Declan Dineen and the game developers he interviews are really able to put some real human emotion to the games industry.

A good idea, covering a different person's "life in games" on a weekly basis. A good host who sets his interviewees at ease with an informal approach, amusing and with entertaining guests.
Recommended.
Been enjoying the podcast since the early episodes, great guests and well presented by Declan - my biggest issue is keeping up with the weekly releases!
I started in the middle somewhere, and since then I have listened to every podcast and have since been inspired to dive into indie game dev myself. Listen and enjoy!
I love the chats, there's always something that crops up that I didn't know before, and for a long time gamer like me, a lot of what is talked about really jogs my memory back to plesant gaming memories I'd almost forgotten. The guests Dec has on his show really know what they're talking about and it's great to hear what they have to say about the past, present and potential future of videogames. If you don't susbscribe to Checkpoints, you're missing out on some gem conversations!

There are plently of great sites out there that have authors list games they love but Checkpoints provides a platform for its guests to discuss what games are important to them, have been there for them, or even shaped them and their careers.
