Occasionally they plan a surprise for each other to pep it up a bit. David loves hearing about behind the scenes stuff from TV shows and writing jingles. Joe likes adventuring and is obsessed with the podcast c... more

I tried to get into this show a while ago and there was a steep curve to understanding what it is and what’s going on. But I tried again a month or so later and I AM IN. I have now listened to almost every ep twice - and with time you know which type of ep you don’t like and those you love - I’m fussy about guests and I don’t enjoy talk about the charts but there is SO MUCH to be “in” with. The metal detector episodes were some of the coziest things I’ve ever listened to. Can’t say enough good ... more

Just rewatched After Life incredible show and you are both genius in it. Crunch crunch. Loads of love. Saffron

Two long-running British comedians engage in freewheeling, offbeat banter with frequent tangents into culture, memory, and everyday life. Episodes blend listener mailbags, meta-commentary on their show, and candid discussions about showbiz, personal projects, and small-adventure outings. Regular bits, celebrity encounters, and self-deprecating humor create a warm, chaotic vibe that often feels like a chat between friends who turn ordinary moments into entertaining storytelling. A standout is the playful format around audience input and recurring segments, plus occasional high-profile guests and nostalgic pop-culture riffs that keep the conversation fresh for devoted listeners.
