  • Helped me prepare for my knee injury evaluation

I am not a health care professional, so I listened as someone preparing for an evaluation of my knee injury. I was better able to consider my own symptoms and describe them in writing during my preregistration. I was better able to have an informed discussion with the medical professional who performed that evaluation. Thank you for the concise way you presented this information. Much of it was beyond my understanding, but after listening to a couple of your podcasts twice, I was much more knowl... more

  • Constant mouth smacking

Very hard to concentrate on material when host ends every sentence she reads by smacking her mouth. Yes, you’re reading and speaking quickly but it’s possible to collect your saliva inaudibly. Bad audio quality on top of that.

  • #PASS

Passed OCS last week. One of the reasons is because I listened to this everyday on the way to work for about 2 months. 100% reccomend!,

  • Hard to listen to

I’ve listened to a few episodes and it really is just reading through snippets of the CPGs, which I can see how it should be seen as review but I can read through them myself. It would be more helpful to make more applicable connections to the exam and the way we will be required to use the info. The OCS Field Guide Podcast does a GREAT job of this. The sound quality was not great and didn’t seem there was much editing done. Also didn’t love the ad at the beginning of the recent episodes especia... more

  • Thorough OCS review podcast

This podcast is very thorough, which has its pros and cons! It covered each topic in detail and was great for my initial studying but they often had info that might not be super important when reviewing closer to the test date and trying to focus on on high yield material. I had a hard time listening because of the poor sound quality, this in itself was my least favorite part of the podcast.
