I was recommended CMBC from a friend who’s a long time listener about two months before the final episode. Bummed about the timing but happy to have the whole backlog to catch up on. So far I’m really enjoying Good Noticings. It’s been my Monday drive to work/start of my work week prep time listen and I appreciate how thoughtful the content seems while still being funny and interesting because of the host’s personalities. Looking forward to what is to come
This has been my favourite podcast and patreon for years, i always really appreciated the girls for being thoughtful and not inflammatory just for the sake of it. Today i finally had to unsubscribe. Calling a woman an enemy of the state and a horrid monster because she “doesn’t protect the trans community” is just a disgusting, woke rhetoric. Trans is a clear mental illness that hinges on body mutilation that creates permanent life long patients so big pharma can have a lifelong person dependent... more
As a longtime listener to the book club, I’ll say that I LOVE the new pod! Still funny, still relatable, it’s now just on more topics.
Love you claishley, but the new show is boring, I want to hear your thoughts on SO MANY new celebrities memoirs
Loving the new pod. So funny and SMART! My fav “fun” podcast. I’m not particularly into celebrities or memoirs, in general, but I’d listen to Claire and Ashley talk about anything! Their takes are nuanced and thoughtful. They are well-read and educated, but the podcasts are such a light and fun romp! Literally, my fav. Most of what I listen to is highbrow and these girls can keep up.
