The best song on Dude Ranch is Enthused. I don’t understand how that’s even a question.

  • my favorite misinformation podcast 💖

to prepare for going to when we were young this year, i decided to learn about the bands playing that i didn't know, by listening to every album being played at the festival. this podcast has been a huge help in my journey, giving me a look into what the scene was like at the time each album was released and some context and culture that i was missing, plus interviews with people related to the albums. i may not have agreed with every opinion they had, but this isn't a review podcast; it's (most... more

  • My Favorite Music Pod

CD Burners is currently one of my favorite podcasts! I love the unique approach to not doing a track track retro review of the albums, but rather hopping in a time machine and exploring what life and the scene were like during the time of these albums, creation and releases. I appreciate the fresh insight. The guys are able to get from their interviews also! Great show and great dudes!

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

71: Before Emo Rap Was a Genre, Gym Class Heroes Did It First w/ Travie McCoy
Q: How do you feel about its legacy? And like when you listen to it now, is there anything that you're like, fuck, I wish we did that different?
One thing I wouldn't have put Cupid's Chokehold on our next album. I believe it would have hit if it existed only on the Papercut Chronicles.
63: The Alkaline Trio Album That Changed Everything w/ Dan Andriano
Q: What was it like transitioning from a DIY band to a major label?
It was surreal, and sometimes the focus was more on the fun rather than the serious aspects of the music.
63: The Alkaline Trio Album That Changed Everything w/ Dan Andriano
Q: What do you think makes this album so influential?
It captures a snapshot of a unique emotional experience for many listeners.
59: Crabcore, Chaos & Comebacks — Inside the Rise, Fall & Return of Attack Attack! w/ Andrew Wetzel
Q: What was it like to handle such negative criticism when the band first started?
It felt overwhelming, especially receiving harsh criticism from platforms like Absolute Punk and mainstream media while just being kids trying to express ourselves through music.
59: Crabcore, Chaos & Comebacks — Inside the Rise, Fall & Return of Attack Attack! w/ Andrew Wetzel
Q: How do you keep the fun in the music-making process this time around?
We're older now, and we appreciate what Attack Attack is. We can operate knowing none of us need to be in this, and that takes the pressure off, allowing us to create what we love without worrying about outside opinions.
