I was enjoying pod episodes until a recent one where she compares far-right debater/White Nationalist Charlie Kirk “speaking up” to that of women speaking up to their in-laws. And how he was harmed bc not all people will like when you speak up. Not equivalent situations at all!
Lost all credibility by using as an example an extremely polarizing political figure whose public persona was infamous for his abrasive, toxic behavior towards anyone/thing he disagreed with.
Miriam’s honest outlook on in-law relationships is so refreshing. She has lived experience! I especially love how what she teaches is backed up with research and is applicable to other relationships as well. Give it a listen!
