I’ll take a hard pass on this podcast.
Shivam’s warmth and humanity shine throughout, providing a nurturing environment to discuss life through the lens of magic the gathering
Shivam is likeable, but he is a bad interviewer. His questions are often boring and basic, leading to a lot of interviews being “here is my life story before Magic” which just isn’t interesting most of the time. I do not care where someone went to college or their mundane job before Magic. Often when the guest has finally said something interesting about our game he interrupts for a rant, sometimes even a recycled rant. Mediocre show, but it could be great.
Smug butthole
Shivam is such a good interviewer that each episode sounds like a conversation between old friends. The podcast literally feels like home/safe space.
