I learnt about Michael through Abby Davisson’s newsletter. I loved his recent book and through that I discovered his podcast. Every episode so far has been a delight - a refreshing combination of big ambitious thinking grounded in practical and help application and ideas. I also think he strikes a great balance of being human and personal, without making it all about him. I’ve listened to so many coaching podcasts before and never really connected with any of them, but this one really speaks ... more
I love the practical bite sized way Michael approaches this way of taking ownership over your career. I've listened to all episodes and now am working on step by step trying his strategies. I feel like I have my own personal coach working side by side with me. You will love this podcast.
I appreciate how this podcast doesn’t claim to have the one secret to career success. The stories are more about being human than they are about being “successful.” I saw myself in a lot of the stories shared here, which means a lot to someone who usually isn’t represented in career empowerment talks.
Michael’s podcast is great for anyone trying to navigate their career or who works in coaching. The live coaching sessions are extremely informative and his guests are interesting and share in a way that is interesting and informative. This is a must listen.
Each episode of Michael’s podcast is filled with insightful and practical advice. Moreover, it’s not mere truisms and platitudes; the steps and advice are focused and readily implemented. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about a career transition, promotion, etc. But it also just great practical advice anyone can use on a regular basis.
