This is such a fabulous podcast. A deep dive into resilience, trauma, caring …. All with a healthy dose of comedic relief. Well done
Great podcast telling a really important story.
Really well done.
Discovered this podcast and I must confess I love listening to Kristine Rawlinson. Kristine is so composed and has a beautiful knack of allowing some amazing people to share their extraordinary life stories.
I am a 13 year old boy, I know not your target audience. However this story has drawn emotion from me.
It was good to hear such a hidden, hurt point of view. It truely hurts me to hear how the medical industry treats carers. Kristine showed me that, Carers are the first domino. When they fall, everything else goes with them. Stay strong kris. We as a supportive community will help you stay the strongest domino of them all. -Jackson
Kristine’s story opens our eyes to how lives can be changed in the blink of an eye, and how the role of the carer is often taken for granted. We know carers are mainly women, and we need to do better at supporting families just like this one.
