You’ll often see her on the “wrong side” of issues especially if any of her friends are involved. At the end of the day, she’d rather defend people she knows than s... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Epstein, Me Too, and the Justice We Never Got (ft. Lyz Lenz)
Q: What can we do to get justice for victims in light of the Epstein case?
Justice for victims involves listening to their stories and changing the systems that contributed to their victimization, rather than solely seeking punitive measures for perpetrators.
Can Free Speech Survive the Charlie Kirk Backlash? (ft. Kat Tenbarge)
Q: How do we, in your mind, get to a point where we can both dial down the temperature and actively respond to the quite frankly insane ideas coming out of the right right now?
There needs to be a balancing act of maintaining empathy while also holding individuals accountable for their harmful rhetoric and actions.
Can Free Speech Survive the Charlie Kirk Backlash? (ft. Kat Tenbarge)
Q: Can you give us like a TLDR of what's been going on?
For the past almost week, Charlie Kirk, a conservative political activist, was fatally shot on a college campus during a tour stop, leading to a crackdown on free speech and fallout in the mainstream media regarding how his death was discussed.
Excommunicated, Executed, Deposed: Medieval Cancel Culture Was Ruthless (ft Eleanor Janega)
Q: How do you suss out the rumors from as factual as facts can be when studying stuff from so long ago?
By analyzing sources critically—understanding who's writing it and why—and checking the consistency of accounts, you can differentiate fact from rumor.
Behind the Scenes of an Influencer’s Congressional Run (ft. Kat Abughazaleh)
Q: Can you talk a little bit about that messaging that you're putting out there?
It's important to be angry at the right people and for Democrats to actually act as an opposition and fight against authoritarianism instead of just hoping for votes from people getting hurt.
