I listened to about ten minutes of an episode before the host said a plan went awry, pronouncing it “aw-ree”. What the heck?! She supposedly has a doctorates degree but doesn’t know how to say a pretty basic word?! And if she didn’t know, why not look it up before recording?! I really hate improper grammar and mispronunciations in podcasts; it makes the host sound uneducated and unprepared. At least I can clear out my podcast library a bit by unfollowing this one.
Such a great podcast! Love the host’s deep dives. She’s a great story teller. It feels like she’s right here talking to me.
Love the podcast
As researcher myself, I understand the intricacies that are involved in the creation of podcasts and stories like these. Dr. Turner does an impeccable job as a researcher and presenting the stories of the victims. This is a pleasure to listen to which can also be heartbreaking at the same time.
Awesome story telling and a joy to listen to!
