  • In the wilderness?

I used to love this show and still re listen to multiple episodes. However it seems to have lost track, become much more repetitive and is lacking the voice and deep experience of Miles himself. I hope it can restore its former excellence.

  • Insightful lessons for any aspiring leader

Really interesting content in bite-size pieces. I’ve learned a lot about how to modulate and make little changes to become a stronger, more self-aware leader. Highly recommend.

AI, Leadership, and the Future of Performance
Q: Taylor, what are you seeing in terms of tactical changes in organizations because of AI? Is there a shift in culture or resource allocation?
Companies are redesigning roles and workflows, moving from isolated IT cost centers to strategic investments, and experimenting with data-driven, outcomes-based approaches. The key is to push learning, context-setting, and judgment application while scaling AI across teams.
AI, Leadership, and the Future of Performance
Q: Stephen, your Forbes piece explored how AI is changing the shape of organizations and what leaders are being asked to do. What's the biggest shift you're seeing right now in how leaders think about performance and talent?
The shift is toward democratizing intelligence and focusing leaders on enabling and coordinating human judgment rather than just performing routine tasks. Leaders must become fluent with AI, elevate judgment and context, and use AI to expand cognitive capacity, not replace it.
New Member = New Team
Q: What do you mean by new member equals new team, and how should leaders approach that transition?
Lead with clarity on norms and expectations, use a team charter, and schedule structured, recurring conversations to align priorities and behaviors as the team absorbs the new member.
Beyond Labels: Leading a Multigenerational Workforce
Q: What tips do you have for communicating with different generations?
Keep communication clear and content-rich, set context, enroll people in the thinking, and adapt the rhythm and channels to fit each generation while maintaining universal standards.
Beyond Labels: Leading a Multigenerational Workforce
Q: How do we manage them?
Leaders should focus on trust through individual, one-to-one alignment, use leadership range to meet diverse audiences, and avoid relying on stereotypes by tailoring communication and feedback to each person.
