Came here for the interview with Ben Smith which was great because Ben Smith took control of the interview and spoke his mind, left because the other interviews mostly operate as PR for the guests not much more.
Byers is getting top-tier guest and is a good interviewer, but the show’s ad load is comically large. I can tolerate 1-2 ad breaks in an hour-long interview but not 4-5.
I’ll only listen for really big guests if the ad load doesn’t change.
I just finished the first episode of Byers Market where Dylan Byers interviews Sheryl Sandberg. Clearly Dylan is an experienced interviewer who asks tough questions with respect and fairness. It gave me a different view of Facebook and Sandberg, which I very much appreciate. Looking forward to the next episode.
