  • NBC Gave Up on Journalism

I just listened to the “interview” with President Trump and realized that NBC has given up on journalism.

No matter your politics, no news station should pass up the chance to ask controversial questions in an interview with an American President.

This President’s polling numbers are currently (early 2026) in decline on immigration, the Epstein files and the economy, but only softball questions were asked.

For example, “On January 21, 2029, is there any scenario where you see yourself as pr... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Friday, June 5, 2026
Q: You have been saying for months, Mr. President, that Iran is begging to make a deal. They are so desperate to make a deal. Why haven't they made a deal with you yet?
The President explains that Iran has to make choices consistent with its own calculations and that previous leadership mistakes, along with regional dynamics, have led to a position where a deal is possible but not guaranteed, emphasizing hard-line incentives and strategic patience.
Friday, May 29, 2026
Q: What do you love about America?
The guest describes opportunities, resilience, and the chance to grow and contribute, emphasizing that America is most American when people seize opportunities and create them for themselves and others.
Thursday, May 14, 2026
Q: What is the status of the Iran issue in the talks with China?
Officials say Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon and the discussions aim to clarify the U.S. position while exploring China's potential influence on regional stability.
Here’s the Scoop: Supreme Court Edition, Ep 2: Who gets to play school sports?
Q: What was your strategy for arguing the case in front of the Justices?
We aimed to appeal to conservatives on the textual/constitutional interpretation while also presenting a logical, non-discriminatory basis linking transgender status to sex discrimination under Title VII, even as we recognized broader debates around purpose versus text.
Here’s the Scoop: Supreme Court Edition, Ep 2: Who gets to play school sports?
Q: Did you think that that was a winnable case when you first heard about it?
Yes, but certainly not a certainty; strong arguments existed about sex discrimination, but the ultimate outcome depended on how the Court interpreted the statute and the balance of legal reasoning.
