Meet the Press NOW — February 20
Q: Is he right in suggesting new tactics to impose tariffs?
Sort of, but the court did not say here are alternatives; that wasn't the chief justice's focus.
Meet the Press NOW — February 20
Q: What might that litigation look like?
Trump doesn't have to fight in court; there are ways for tariffs to be sent back without needing to go through litigation.
Meet the Press NOW — February 20
Q: What would a 10 percent global tariff really mean for American consumers?
It would be a relief, quite frankly, from the tariff rates that you're seeing right now, and it's way better than what we had seen way back earlier.
Meet the Press NOW — February 20
Q: So how big of a defeat does the administration see today's decision as being?
It is hard to overstate just how significant this is for the president's agenda and really what a rebuke this is to something that he has considered a total cornerstone of this second term.
Full Interview: Energy Sec. Wright says cooperation with Venezuela ‘off to a tremendous start’
Q: When will there be free and fair elections in Venezuela?
Free and fair elections require time, and while elections are likely during this administration, there are no set dates yet.
