  • Clear, Steady, and Worth Your Time: Why Meet the Press NOW Works

I’ve recently become a regular listener to Meet the Press NOW, and it has quickly earned a spot in my daily routine. As the weekday extension of NBC’s long-running Meet the Press franchise, it carries forward a legacy of serious, fact-based political journalism while adapting effectively to a faster, digital-first news cycle.

What stands out is the program’s discipline. In an environment where much of cable and online news leans toward heat over light, Meet the Press NOW delivers concise, ba... more

  • More Panel Please

I’m a big fan of Kristen Walker but have become increasingly disappointed in the layout of the show. Now, the panel is given a ridiculously small portion of the show with little time for offering any real insights. This portion of the show used to be the reality check for whatever the guests were trying to spin. Please bring back the best of your sharp panel guests. Meet the ... more

Meet the Press NOW – March 25
Q: Is there a point at which the President will consider seeking authorization from Congress?
Duckworth argues Congress must be involved and that the President should justify the war and present a clear end state before further actions, asserting the constitutional role of Congress.
March 15 — Sec. Chris Wright, Sen. Adam Schiff and Thomas Friedman
Q: Do you agree with Secretary Wright's assessment that the conflict could be over in the next few weeks, and what timeline do you see as realistic given the complexities on the ground?
There are no guarantees in war, and while some officials hope for a quick end, it's uncertain; the costs and ongoing violence suggest a more extended horizon than a simple victory timeline.
