Andrew is a no nonsense guy who can explain very clearly the complexity of sports business. This is one of my favorite podcasts and his latest show with Jemele Hill, another smart and exceptional sports expert, is quintessential Brandt podcasting. I can’t get enough of Andrew’s insights and expertise.
Andrew, love the pod, being an accountant by trade it fascinates me when you break the contracts down to their purest form, cash. Have a question, during your time have you ever heard of a commissioner stepping in on a dispute between landlord & team regarding a new arena? Reports indicate that Adam Silver brokered the deal between comcast (landlord and tv partner) and the sixers ownership on their new arena deal after the city of Philadelphia had approved the new arena.
Never ceases to amaze how Andrew manages to have an interesting anecdote that is totally relevant no matter what is happening in the current sports world. I always learn something new and am entertained at the same time. Andrew is a true insider in the world of sports with real depth. And wisdom. A treasure!

And, in so doing, essentially create a secondary market, not only for themselves, but perhaps also perhaps for other ... more
Great insight into these two deals. At some point and maybe you have, interview David Faulk on your podcast?
