  • Episodes are great, Newsletter no no no

I learn so much every episode. The recent episode featuring Recursion was especially helpful.

The only annoying thing, I signed up for the newsletter after all the talk about it not being “another newsletter” but it’s actually worse than most. WAY too many headlines, poor formatting makes it hard to follow or focus on any particular one, the thing is poorly designed and packed with jargon.

Radiotherapeutics For CNS Cancers With Plus Therapeutics' Marc Hedrick, M.D.
Q: I'm curious where glioblastoma stands as the lead indication versus pediatric brain cancer, and what that means for regulatory pathways.
Marc explains that lead designation is defined by which indication is likely to be approved first; leptomeningeal cancer currently appears as the more likely near-term approval, with glioblastoma closely following, and both indications showing promising data in Phase 1/2.
Developing Novel Cancer Drugs On A Budget With Iterion Therapeutics' Rahul Aras, Ph.D.
Q: Tagivivint is your lead candidate. Would you mind giving us an overview of its clinical status and strategy going forward?
Tagivivint is a downstream Wnt-beta-catenin inhibitor targeting TIMBL-1. The drug has shown monotherapy activity in hepatocellular carcinoma and is now being explored in combination settings and later-line indications, with plans for a phase 2 study in HCC and potential expansion into colorectal cancer and other Wnt-activated tumors.
An Anthropological Lens On Leadership In Life Sciences With Bunka's Monika Sumra, Ph.D.
Q: What advice would you give to leaders forming a company around exciting technology?

Q: Can you describe maybe some of your research that you did during the doctorate program?
My doctoral research focused on how leadership identities are constructed and how many assumptions about leadership are unstable.
BoB@JPM: Brian Hilberdink, Boehringer Ingelheim
Q: What opportunities or challenges do you find most enticing in your role at Boehringer?
The early launch phase is critical, ensuring the new products get off to a good start is an opportunity.
