  • Episodes are great, Newsletter no no no

I learn so much every episode. The recent episode featuring Recursion was especially helpful.

The only annoying thing, I signed up for the newsletter after all the talk about it not being “another newsletter” but it’s actually worse than most. WAY too many headlines, poor formatting makes it hard to follow or focus on any particular one, the thing is poorly designed and packed with jargon.

Keeping An Early-Stage Cell Therapy Biotech In The Black With IN8bio's William Ho
Q: What leadership lessons did you carry into the 2024 restructuring and how did you balance staff reductions with continuing core programs?
Be truthful with employees, act decisively to align with milestones, and reorient the team around the overarching goal of delivering patient benefit. Large-scale cuts were done in a way that preserves critical programs and enables continued progress toward IND milestones.
Keeping An Early-Stage Cell Therapy Biotech In The Black With IN8bio's William Ho
Q: Why did you choose glioblastoma and brain delivery as initial indications, and how did gamma delta T cells influence that decision?
Glioblastoma offered a route to bypass systemic trafficking due to direct brain access from frontline surgery, addressing delivery challenges in solid tumors. Gamma delta T cells' ability to kill directly and exhibit memory made them attractive for off-the-shelf approaches in solid tumors, where conventional CAR-T faced barriers.
Keeping An Early-Stage Cell Therapy Biotech In The Black With IN8bio's William Ho
Q: Could you walk us through the IN8bio IPO process and the major hurdles you faced in 2020-2021?
We filed confidentially in September 2020, prepared a robust roadshow plan, faced election-year timing delays, and initially saw vaccine-related market volatility erode orders. After a strategic switch to a single-bookrunner arrangement with B Riley, we relaunched and closed the offering in March 2021, despite a volatile market window.
Drug Launch Success In A Changing Commercial Landscape With ACMA's William Soliman, Ph.D.
Q: How should regulatory and commercial teams collaborate during pre-approval and post-approval phases?
They should be integrated from early stages to ensure messaging aligns with the label, and to support cross-functional readiness for launch.
Drug Launch Success In A Changing Commercial Landscape With ACMA's William Soliman, Ph.D.
Q: What are the most common mistakes leading to launches not meeting expectations?
Failing to engage medical affairs early, not building payer and market access strategy, and not generating robust real-world evidence and pharmacovigilance data.
