    Ross

Can you ask what relief will be available for tax paid on unrealised capital gains when gains (or losses) are eventually realised?

Will a franking credit style of structure be offered?

If not, this contradicts the Keating led snd labour endorsed position of not double taxing Australians

    Thank you

If the conflict continues, it may restrict supply through the Strait of Hormuz, impacting global oil prices significantly.
Business Now | 2 March
Q: So, the market totally recovered and is now back at a record high. Why do you think that is?
The market has priced in some level of escalation regarding the conflict, leading to a recovery despite initial downturns.
Business Now | 23 February
Q: How many more rate rises are needed to genuinely quell this inflation?
At least two more rate rises are needed to get inflation under control, especially with a cash rate close to five percent being more effective.
Business Now | 23 February
Q: Even if it eases to 3.7%, is that going to be too high for the Reserve Bank?
3.7% is still too high, and we need to monitor underlying inflation trends closely.
Business Now | 23 February
Q: Richard, thanks for your time. This is the issue for any exporter, especially going to the United States right now. They've paid these tariffs. What do they do?
As an exporter, you don't actually pay the tariff; it's the importer of record that absorbs it, putting long-term contracts at jeopardy and forcing exporters to look for other markets.
