  • The podcast that broadened my mornings

Sad to see it go. It was always sharp, insightful and surprisingly entertaining for something labelled “business”. Having it drop in the early morning made it my daily companion on the commute — far more useful than the coffee I spilled listening to it.

What I valued most was the BBC’s knack for bringing in voices from across the globe and political spectrum, which gave me a perspective my native German programmes rarely manage. Without this podcast, I’d never have known that onion prices in In... more

  • Fantastic guests, please change the host

Consistently baiting the guests and playing devil’s advocate on the side of the devil, the host believes he is practicing “journalism” but instead shows himself to be morally bankrupt. Kudos to the guests for often pushing back and standing up to him but it’s exhausting for the listener.

He continuously have been asking guests questions with assumptions instead of knowing what actually occurred or what policies were written yet, repeats it with authority and as fact. It’s gotten so bad in past months that guests have had to continuously correct him on the same po... more
