If you’re smart enough to understand that things you love may also be flawed this is the podcast for you. If you’re looking to be reassured that you are smart and awesome, this is not the podcast for you.
These two host seem to mock everything about anything. I couldn’t take much of this but I still managed to listen to half an episode. Why would you go scene by scene (as we already watched it) and describe it as if the audience is dumb. No insight. Nothing of value added. Simply mocking a show we love and can’t get enough of. Even someone new to the TV series would hate this podcast.
Been rewatching Burn Notice recently and was hoping for some entertaining discussion of the show. This…isn’t it. The hosts don’t wait long to just crap all over, which I wouldn’t mind if they weren’t jumping all over themselves to be the first one to complain. Don’t waste your time with this.
I seriously love burn notice. It’s my safety blanket. It’s what I put on the tv when I don’t want to watch tv, but I also don’t want to sit in silence. It’s not great. It’s kind of awful. But so awful it’s good? Anyway… burn noticed is brilliant. The hosts make me laugh as I relive all of the best and worst moments of my favourite show. Not sure why I love deconstructing tv so much, but this show is right up my alley.
The hosts seem incredibly unprepared and don’t seem to know the show all that well. They have a difficult time discussing the show with each other and actively listening to the other person. For example, Bri is constantly interrupting Chris and both hosts seem to just be waiting for the other person to be done talking so that they can talk again. They miss huge plot points (Chris seems to get it more than Bri) and don’t seem to like the show at all.
