  • Good advice for singles, families

Good (and usually scripturally-based) advice from guests such as Dr. Gary Chapman, on a variety of topics from raising children to health-healthy love and boundaries within families. It may be the same one that is on radio but I don’t know where and when; the podcast allows the listener to download the ones appropriate to their needs.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Student of Love | Laterras Whitfield
Q: What do you think is the biggest misconception people have about recovering from heartbreak?
That it is the end. A lot of people think that after a relationship doesn't work out, God doesn't have anyone else for them.
Student of Love | Laterras Whitfield
Q: What inspired you to write this book, Student of Love?
I decided to write this book because I never wanted to become who I became in my past marriage. I've been very open about my infidelity in my past marriage and went through therapy and healing.
God is Not Fair | Jennifer Rothschild
Q: Is it okay to be angry with God sometimes?
Yes, expressing anger or doubt can be part of an honest faith journey, as long as it leads to seeking understanding rather than bitterness.
God is Not Fair | Jennifer Rothschild
Q: What does it mean to ask questions of God without doubting Him?
Asking questions of God is a sign of seeking understanding and faith rather than questioning His character. It's important to approach God with genuine inquiries rather than accusations, which allows for honest faith development.
How To Remember | Andrew Osenga
Q: What are some practical applications for individuals looking to deepen their awareness of God?
Osenga suggests practices like taking a few minutes each day to be quiet and contemplating guided prayers, like the Jesus Prayer, that have been used for centuries.
