  • Good advice for singles, families

Good (and usually scripturally-based) advice from guests such as Dr. Gary Chapman, on a variety of topics from raising children to health-healthy love and boundaries within families. It may be the same one that is on radio but I don’t know where and when; the podcast allows the listener to download the ones appropriate to their needs.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Love Language That Matters Most | Les & Leslie Parrott
Q: Does personality influence how we speak the love languages, and how does that intersect with the dialect concept?
Personality modulates how each language is expressed, so the approach to speaking love should be tailored by considering whether someone is introverted or extroverted and how they prefer to receive attention, while still focusing on the other person's primary language and dialect.
On Our Way Home | Colleen Chao
Q: How did writing the book change Colleen's own heart and perspective on mortality?
The writing process became a sacred exchange with Jesus, grounding her in solid truths that helped her endure fear and stay hopeful through illness.
Authentic Masculinity - Seth Troutt
Q: How does your 'masculinity pyramid' inform daily life and parenting?
Humility, discipline, responsibility, and chivalry are foundational; proper fathering includes affection, blessing, and correction, which together guide a man to shepherd his family and model Christ-like leadership.
Rekindled Heart | Dr. Mark Yarbrough
Q: Why six essentials and not more or fewer?
They are practical, personally meaningful, and rooted in biblical themes, designed to move believers toward a vibrant, enduring faith rather than a generic checklist.
Emotional Hoarding | Laurie Davies
Q: What role does grace play in overcoming regrets and past mistakes?
Grace is described as essential to rewriting past regrets, offering forgiveness and a path forward that strengthens rather than condemns the believer.
