  • Too partnered/family centric!

    Good guided meditations.

However, the monks of BSWA seems to think that all lay Buddhist have partners, kids etc, leading to an oversimplification of lay life and only offering examples that partnered lay Buddhists can relate to (“your partner, your kids, your mother-in-law” etc). True Happiness | Ajahn Brahm | 27 February 2026
Q: How can we effectively manage our thoughts to view illness, aging and death neutrally without anxiety and fear?
Develop a mindset of letting go, accepting reality as it is, and cultivating peace of mind rather than clinging to avoidance or resistance.
Flow State Meditation | Ajahn Santutthi | Roleystone Meditation Group
Q: How to watch the mind?
Engage with the awareness of the present moment, similar to how you would when driving a car.
Guided Meditation | Venerable Cittapalo | 28 February 2026
Q: You mentioned that meditation can worsen mental health and causes disassociation, and that teachers may not always be prepared for this. How do beginner meditators understand and manage these risks?
The key is to always practice with loving-kindness and awareness. Understand that if you are aware of your mental state, you're already taking steps to manage your risks.
Guided Meditation | Venerable Cittapalo | 28 February 2026
Q: I feel a bit embarrassed, but that whole time, my mind was very restless. So I'm finding it like enjoyable to sit, and my body feels relaxed, and I'm like enjoying just thinking, thinking, thinking. So do you have any advice on what I could do?
It's important to recognize that wanting your breath or thoughts to be different is the real issue. The breath itself is not the problem; it's your desire for control over it. Kindness towards yourself is key.
Joy and Power of Peace | Ajahn Brahm | 13 February 2026
Q: How to focus on well-being, peacemaking, kindness when my body gives me stress, bad thoughts, fear out of physiological issues?
Your body does not give you fear or bad thoughts. It's the mind's reaction to the body. You can still find peace amidst discomfort.
