板橋天才書坊後來經歷過幾次遷徙。最初是從地下室起家，後來搬遷擴大到現在府中薩利亞餐廳的位置；那時的規模之大，氣勢甚至可以和現在的府中誠品一拚。
但隨著實體書銷售進入寒冬，終究敵不過時代浪潮。天才書坊後來縮小規模，遷至現在燒烤店的位置，但考驗還沒結束……中間歷經隔壁薩利亞餐廳同棟大樓的火災後，書店便一蹶不振。我對它最後的印象，竟是清倉拍賣的書籍上，那股揮之不去的焦味。
這是繼新學友之後，又一間從我生命中徹底消失的中大型書店。
而這期間開業的府中金玉堂，也因為實體書銷量慘澹，最終轉型為純文具店，原本的圖書區已完全消失了。
