I think the guys are having a fun time watching and reviewing the episodes. It started out a little rough, and it seems like they have very little context of the 90s and sci-fi/fantasy shows. Once the show hits its stride, it seems like the boys are a lot more open to the fun and quirky elements of the series. Edit: so I did come back, and I feel like the nit picking has gone down, and it has been much more of a fun positive experience. But again, you might want to get into the show before listening. At episode 16 of the vm podcast now.
Funny guys, BUT they take all the fun out of Veronica Mars - if you love VM, I don’t recommend. Yes, the show is ridiculous some times, but I didn’t want to hear 2 hours of complaints about each episode. I was looking for a podcast to feel like I had someone to talk t... more
Im always cracking up with Vance and Joe. They provide the context and great banter about this overwhelmingly ridiculous awesome show!
Joe & Vance are a great Boys-only team who nitpick (with love) their way across female-centric shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Veronica Mars. They're an endearing combo and I love listening to them every week.
Queen C from Discord here to update my previous positive Buffy review to include Veronica Mars. I’m a long time Marshmallow and was thrilled when the boys decided to review. I have not been disappointed! They bring humor and insight to every episode. The sheer exasperation at the insanity of the show is so entertaining. Keep on talking boys and I will be listening. There’s at least one fan in Chicago - and yes, that’s me!

Two first-time watchers dive into cult TV, mixing sharp banter with scene-by-scene breakdowns of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Veronica Mars.
