  • Iain Grandage Lecture

During his lecture, he played a snippet of a beautiful piece called ‘Moonrise Waltz’, written by his grandfather John Stanley Grandage. I can’t find the full piece anywhere. Bummer.

  • Boyer lectures have lost their way

I’ve always been a huge fan of the Boyer Lectures but am bitterly disappointed they have provided advertisement noise in the form of a lecture to Andrew Forrest in the most recent episodes. His condescending, patronising dictations are gross!

  • Not as interesting in recent years

Some of the subject matter is regurgitating the usual busy talk of how technology is revolutionizing our lives. It’s all been said before in blogs and editorials. The emergence of a digital world is not news to the younger generation maybe this is pitched to the baby boomers.

Earlier years have tackled more interesting subject matter.
