  • Thank you and keep it coming!

It was the west coast offense before there was one, and it gave birth to the Air Raid, the greatest passing offense known to mankind, in my opinion. Its concepts are now ubiquitous in college and pro offenses. Hearing about some of the X’s and O’s of this offense from one of its all-time great masters in Robbie Bosco is a slice of heaven for me. I also loved hearing Robbie’s personal story of why and how he came to BYU. On to... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Bosco Talks: Tulsa and Hawaii
Q: If you weren't a QB, what position would you have wanted to play in football?
I would be a shooting guard in basketball, or I would be a center fielder in baseball, or I would golf.
Bosco Talks: Game 1
Q: Do you feel like that helped you adjust to the speed of the game?
It did not help; the adjustment was still necessary once facing older, more experienced players.
Bosco Talks: Game 1
Q: How did you guys think about stretching the field back then? And what made that approach so hard to defend?
Our offense was designed to stretch the field vertically and horizontally, which made it tough for defenses to cover all areas effectively.
Bosco Talks: The Holiday Bowl
Q: Did you have any pregame rituals or superstitions when you were a Cougar?
Yes, I had a black widow t-shirt that I wore for every game, despite it being extremely smelly from wear over the years.
Bosco Talks: The Holiday Bowl
Q: What was the loudest and/or best stadium you played in?
The loudest stadium was definitely Lavelle Edwards Stadium when we played against Air Force.
