  • Excellent

Very good show. Well reasoned analysis, opinions are well argued and presented. Got to respect that even if I sometimes disagree vs. the typical “who can drop the hottest take” garbage that’s taken over so much sports coverage. Been listening for several years now and really enjoy the podcast and youytube content, keep up the good work.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

We are now in the "earnestly watch Uzbekistan play soccer on a Tuesday" portion of the NFL offseason
Q: How should defenses adjust to teams using more 12 and 13 personnel?
Defenses should deploy anti-rotation, static looks with strong run defense supported by versatile safeties and linebackers who can also cover, so they can still defend the run while staying capable in pass coverage; they should avoid being stuck in base looks and use position-flexible players to remain unpredictable.
The Best Football Weekend of the Year
Q: Do you have a prediction for the winner here?
I don't like betting against Josh, but the altitude and just the physical wear and tear... I'm going to say Bills.
Week One is Absolute Cinema
Q: Do you have a pick for this commanders game?
If the tackles hold up, I would go commanders, because again, that would mean it's really coming down to Jaden versus Russ, and I will take Jaden regardless of who he's got to throw the ball to.
Week One is Absolute Cinema
Q: Do you have a pick for Ravens' Bills?
I would be most surprised by this game if it turned into a blowout.
What the hell are the Steelers doing. (Steelers)
Q: What do you think their goal is for this season?
The goal seems to be to make a final push for a championship with their veteran roster, despite lack of long-term planning.
