Ok. I am not a podcaster, so I can’t be too harsh, BUT after listening to quite a few episodes, I needed to point out some things. 1. Pronounciation is hard, I get that, but it gets to a point where it becomes distracting and difficult to follow. 2. Constant negativity. We all have our opinions and tastes, but at times it’s straight up bashing the author which feels super uncomfy and unnecessary. We don’t have to agree with their choices, and sure there might be plot holes, but it’s just straigh... more
Found this show because I just wanted to listen to a deep dive of a box I’ve read: Serpent & The Wings Of Night. Ended up finding a show that gives me valuable incite concerning a book I read & have no one to talk about it to
I would first like to start out saying that I love the personalities of all of you girls. I love the banter and I truly feel like I’m sitting in book club with my besties. However, what is keeping this pod from being truly outstanding is the constant errors Happening in pot breakdowns. It’s to the point sometimes where someone speaks so often it gives the air of being unprepared. For a pre-recorded podcast that seems silly to me. If it’s been a while since a reread has happened of a book maybe g... more
I love listening to you all! I know what I’m getting (unhinged book reviews and bestie chats) and I love that about you all. No pretenses about saying the right name or places (really who cares). It’s so fun to listen to you all cover the books I’m reading. Thanks ladies!
Being a working mom make sure I have difficult time finding time for myself much less time to get together with friends. I cherish my drives to and from work and when I take my toddler on walks to read and listen to audiobooks, but I never get to talk to like minded people about how they experience the books I’ve read. I’d love to join a book club that has similar tastes but again… time and mental space I just don’t have. Enter this podcast! I feel like I’m sitting with Bridget, Caitlyn, and Hil... more
