A bittersweet episode of Book Chat has Pandora and Bobby discussing two fittingly bittersweet books: Stoner by John Williams and The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera. Also, “some news”, a hearty goodbye, and a look back on some of our B... more
We bring two books both published in 1970 to the table. Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret by “the poet laureate of puberty” Judy Blume, and The Bluest Eye, by the legendary Toni Morrison.

I challenge you to find a cozier podcast!
I listen to a lot of book-related podcasts, but the focus on backlist makes this a real winner for me.
Love these relaxing chats between Pandora and Bobby. What a great premise to discuss older books instead of always obsessing about new ones! The Bridget Jones and High Fidelity was *chefs kiss* and made me want to reread both classic 90s novels. Really love anything Pandora does tbh!
I love everything about this podcast. The deep dive discussions and discovering new (old) reads - an absolute pleasure
I’m a huge book fan and Bridget Jones is one of my all time favourites so when this came up as recommended I thought it was just the thing I needed to distract me from the run I was about to complete. Well it worked a treat; I didn’t even remember running because I enjoyed it so much. I would highly recommend it!
