  • Like I’m chatting with my friends

Finally. A commentary on the Bollywood film industry for those with mature perceptions about society, art and the world. I have found my people; Viewers that don’t exist in a Bollywood bubble, but simultaneously enjoy Hindi flicks as well as the latest English or global offerings in film, TV and pop culture.

For too long, we have pandered to the exclusive idea that Bollywood needs to appeal to the lowest common denominator. That may have been true 30-40 years ago. But the industry’s offerings ... more

  • Really enjoy this podcast

Really enjoying this podcast. The main host makes it a point to go into details of the movies, analysing them in terms of acting, storytelling and music. The other participants have interesting takes on the films and overall it makes for an engaging discussion. My only grouse is that the episodes are far too infrequent - do keep up the good work, we would love to hear many more episodes! 👍🏼

  • Pretty engaging conversation but sporadic episodes

I enjoy this podcast. The host keeps the conversation to the topic of the film or whatever theme they’re highlighting. The rapport between the people on the podcast is good and the discussion is intelligent and rooted in film principles and entertainment value. One star off for crazy sporadic publishing schedule. You’re lucky if they make one episode every 2-3 months.

  • Can use some work

The main host usually seems to be informed on what he's talking about, but some of his cohosts are not. Just this past episode, one of them was complaining about a certain actress' size, and how she refuses to even watch the trailers for this actress' movies because her size upsets her. I just found this to be really unprofessional and archaic. I can't believe this is what Bollywood fans are focused on these days. Instead of hoping for great acting and compelling stories, have we become so shall... more

  • Good, can be better

I hv been listening to this since the begining... I like and agree with your views on bollywood/movies/actors/directors etc. most of the times, and i wait for the next as soon as i finish any episode. But THE MOST ANNOYING THING is the sound level. Aditya please listen to the podcast once u finish it before uploading... if there are 4 ppl speaking, all of them will have different sound levels, and even your prerecorded sound clips where u ask to like subscribe or share... doesn't match to the on... more

  • Great podcast

Aditya, been listening to your podcasts for awhile now and they're just getting better and better. Your guests are insightful and funny with their views. The only request I would have is to figure out your audio as many of the comments can't be heard. One or two end up being really loud and a couple of others are real low. I keep rewinding but it's very faint. I hope you are able to fix this. Thanks for hearing me out :)
