Essential listening for Bob Dylan fans. Covers a wide range of Dylanology from the history and songs, to books, films and beyond. Laid back and fun with two brilliant and passionate hosts.
This is two actors (Kerry ‘Sorry!’ Shale and sidekick), so don’t expect intellectual heft. But their enthusiasm (and misapprehension) is engaging - they’ve clearly been listening to Bob for years, if not exactly paying attention. Bit sweary, predictably anti-Trump, but so goes podland. It fills that ‘Is it Rolling, Bob?’ void!
I’ve been saying for years that he and Picasso are the only 2?real genius’s of the 20th century. This podcast is the first time I’ve heard someone say something similar!
Have been a Dylan fan since the 70’s and never found a Dylan podcast I enjoyed until this one. Both funny and informative. Relatable and hilarious presenters who know their stuff. Keep up the good work guys.
I agree with all previous praiseworthy reviews. Great to have Kerry back, being Kerry, and 2 guys chewing over Bob!
My title is aimed at Daniel’s unnecessary and overused reliance of the F word. I’m no Quaker but it’s pointless and adds nothing to an otherwise great listen.

A conversational deep-dive into Bob Dylan, blending musical analysis with personal anecdotes and a playful, sometimes cheeky, banter between two longtime hosts. Episodes frequently explore Dylan's songs, performances, and broader cultural context, with a mix of track-by-track discussion, historical references, and listener-focused merch and Patreon callbacks. Notable strengths include the hosts' dual perspective (a Boomer and a Millennial) that yields lively debates, accessible lyric analysis, and a strong sense of nerdy enthusiasm that appeals to die-hard Dylan fans and casual listeners alike. The show stands out for its rich tangents, cross-episode continuity, and its reliance on a reusable format that other music-nerd podcasts could emul... more
