Great podcast. Been listening since the previous iteration which I also enjoyed very much. Glad to see that they’re continuing on.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 682: The Skin Man Serial Novel by Tony Sarrecchia
Q: When you consume other media, do you engage differently after your military service?
Oh, definitely; for example, when I watch movies with Air Force characters in them, I notice inaccuracies like uniforms.
Episode 682: The Skin Man Serial Novel by Tony Sarrecchia
Q: Do you draw on people you served with when writing?
Yes, characters often start out based on people I knew in the military, becoming an amalgamation over time.
Episode 682: The Skin Man Serial Novel by Tony Sarrecchia
Q: Is there a particular reason why you prefer audio drama as your storytelling method?
I think dialogue is king, and everything I write starts as an audio drama because I think dialogue moves the story forward.
Episode 682: The Skin Man Serial Novel by Tony Sarrecchia
Q: How do you think your time in the Air Force affects the way you tell stories?
My cynicism toward the way the government works probably works its way into every story because of my Air Force time. I had a great time in the Air Force, but I do point out a lot of the silliness in my work.
Episode 674: Haunted Yuletide by Immortal Books
Q: What age group is this collection appropriate for?
It's generally PG-13 but can be appropriate for younger readers depending on their sensitivity to scare levels.
