BiStitchual is a queer, Canadian crafting podcast brought to you by John and Kelsi. We started this podcast to talk more about queerness, mental health, and disability, both in the fibre arts community and the world at large. We hope to build a community that will not only embrace, but celebrate, uplift, and connect with folks who recognize and relate to these identities and intersections. Tune in... more

This week Kelsi has some very awesome and alliterative updates on her comfy cottagecore crochet cat cardigan, sweater softening saga, and super sweet short row socks! And John… has a moustache.
Guess who’s back… back again… Bistitchual’s back! That’s right, we are still alive and kicking (… kicking ourselves for not recording for a whole two months - please forgive us)! We dive right back into our fibre content, and discuss ambitious croche... more
We're back! This time ‘round we’re talking life updates, WIPs, and multiple FOs! John's been busy working on knitting projects during class and has formed some opinions. Kelsi doesn't agree. Also, possibly the best horoscope ever?
Kelsi isn’t able to join us this episode, and we all know John can't manage ten seconds alone, so we’ve called in reinforcements! John has a chat with fellow double cancer Harper Bee, about imposter syndrome, the merits of BFL, and whether or not yar... more
I love listening to John and Kelsi
Always delightful and entertaining, John and Kelsi aren’t afraid to to be vulnerable during their honest conversations about being queer, mental health, and yes, fiber arts. Listening to this podcast feels more like being invited to sit down and catch up with two friends you haven’t seen in a while: the conversation flows naturally from the more silly to serious topics, and back again in a way that only real conversations between friends can, and it feels like a privilege to be invited into the ... more
During these lonely times I’m loving listening to these podcasts. I miss a more relaxed paced, unplanned connection than you get through Zoom or text messages. And I’m queer and I knit and now I want to learn to crochet, because my podfriends crochet. The hosts are friendly and feel present when you listen. This makes me sound borderline stalker-y, so now I’ll never comment again and just listen to this nice podcast.
I like the podcast, it's funny, but they need to get closer to the microphones, it's hard to hear!
I love Kelsi Grammar and Dangerous Johnny! They are super delightful, joyful and have an authentic love of craft.
I listen to this podcast when I’m doing embroidery, and it feels like I’m in a sewing club. 100% would recommend to all my friends.
Listen, you’ll love it!!
