  • What I Needed!

I’m going to be a first time mom and I’ve been terrified of giving birth. This podcast is really helping demystify things, and that’s after I’ve read multiple books about what to expect. It’s great to hear from both experts and regular people in each episode. Highly recommend listening to this podcast- I just hope all of the episodes drop before I give birth in a few months!

Your Vaccine Questions Answered
Q: Are these vaccines safe for my baby, and how do doctors know they're safe?
Pediatricians emphasize decades of research, trials, and regulatory oversight; vaccines are adjusted for the smallest effective dose, and most families experience only mild, temporary reactions, with serious side effects being very rare.
Your Vaccine Questions Answered
Q: Why not space out vaccines more or give them on a slower schedule?
Experts explain that spaced-out dosing is generally less effective because it extends the window of unprotected time and can reduce the overall immune response, whereas the standard schedule has been optimized for safety and protection.
How Are We Going to Pay for This?
Q: What are the most important steps to take before the baby arrives to manage costs?
Start conversations with insurers about costs, explore early savings, and consider options like payment plans for medical bills, daycare math, and setting up savings accounts that can grow to cover future needs.
Own Your Birth Experience
Q: Can you tell me how the birth actually went?
I delivered four kids, and each birth was different, sometimes reflecting their personalities.
Own Your Birth Experience
Q: Tell me a little bit about your expectations for birth before you gave birth.
I tried to keep them as low as possible and as vague as possible, as I did not want to be stressed or disappointed when things didn't go as planned.
