  • Over sensationalised.

I think Ryan’s family need to get Ryan checked as he obviously got a head injury from the accident. That it wasn’t checked at the time is appalling. I have family experience with head injuries and a head injury is for life and affects every part of life but often with decision making, substance abuse and aggression to name a few. Jail will not help him but confuse and create more issues. If he was never checked he has been battling this brain injury and all it entails for so many years. He canno... more

Dan Andrews and his wife are revolting humans. The privilege and corruption is disgusting. Great podcast. I sincerely hope that further action is taken.

  • Repetitive and over sensationalised.

The narration is SO repetitive and dripping in alt-right bias. Probably four facts hammered home again and again. When a 10 min episode includes a “last time on the podcast” and “next time” on the podcast” you should know there is really no meat to this story. They have done the poor victim a massive disservice.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S2 Ep5 Peter Meuleman Reacts to Ryan’s Arrest
Q: Tell me this, as a father, how are you coping with the public and the expectations surrounding Ryan's case?
The father explains that he puts on a brave face for his family, emphasizes protecting his other daughters, and stresses the need for accountability while offering support to Ryan if he seeks help.
S2 Ep3 — Who Wrote the False Statements to Police?
Q: What did the witnesses and officers you spoke to reveal about who actually took the statements?
Officers claimed they took the statements, but later admitted they did not, and another officer's DURAT record was falsified, indicating the statements were prepared elsewhere and not collected in the manner described.
S2 Ep3 — Who Wrote the False Statements to Police?
Q: Why is taking statements at the crash scene important, and what went wrong here?
Taking statements on the day preserves details and prevents memory decay or later alteration, but in this case there were no statements taken at the scene; the process relied on later documents that appear to be copies, compromising the integrity of the investigation.
S2 Ep3 — Who Wrote the False Statements to Police?
Q: Scott, when you saw those statements for the first time, what stood out to you about their quality and origin?
They read like an insurance narrative rather than a police witness statement; there is a striking level of similarity and copying, suggesting the police statements were not independently sourced but derived from pre-existing accounts, which undermines their credibility.
S1 Ep5 – A Rough Old Decade
Q: How does public support make Ryan feel?
Ryan conveys that public support is the greatest thing in the world, bringing him peace and helping him feel like a normal person in society again.
