  • Open and honest

I love this podcast - as a fellow business owner it’s really nice to read about the highs and lows of business and to hear someone speak so openly and candidly - it can feel very lonely being a business owner when business is all online so it feels like a little friend in my pocket!

  • Game changer! 🙌🏼🧡

It may sound hyperbolic but Game Changer could even ben an understatement - listening to this pod and learning through the generous way Britt shares the unfiltered details of what it really takes to run a business has been incredible! I selected the ‘unplayed’ filter on ‘Big Business’ pod and have worked my way through every single episode. Thank you for this gift, it has made me feel so seen and connected to someone else walking this road and keeping me smiling and laughing my way through it.... more

  • My new favorite podcast

I recently started a product based business and have been wanting to share everything I’ve learned in an authentic way bc I felt like there was a huge “gap in the market” of people taking about the realities of starting a business…but not anymore!!! Brittney is my hero and I am so inspired by her sharing ALL THE THINGS business in a real and authentic way. I’ve listened to all the episodes and my only complaint is that I wish she put episodes out more often!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Real Housewives Of Big Business (ft. Krissy Marsh)
Q: What role does authenticity play in handling reality TV exposure and your own platform?
Krissy notes the power of showing the real you, leveraging the platform you control, and using the experience from TV to build a business persona that resonates with audiences and potential customers.
The Real Housewives Of Big Business (ft. Krissy Marsh)
Q: How did you transition from executive roles to starting your own business and balancing motherhood?
She explains taking control by starting small when she had an eight-week-old, prioritizing flexibility, and choosing organic growth over quick, branded expansion. She also discusses hiring thoughtfully and building a supportive culture that accommodates family life.
The Real Housewives Of Big Business (ft. Krissy Marsh)
Q: What were your earliest learnings when starting and growing a business?
Krissy stresses the importance of short- and long-term goals, time management, and actually doing the daily tasks required to grow. She emphasizes that you can train anyone to be a salesperson if they have clear goals and are willing to put in the time.
Would I ever host a business retreat?
Q: Hi Britt and Producer X, would you ever consider doing like a business weekend retreat? Something for people starting out in business or trying to take their business to the next level, where you could do workshops for Facebook marketing or content creation, for example, could also have some seminar style where you talk on certain business topics, would be such an amazing experience to be able to learn from you and network with others in the same boat.
The host expresses strong enthusiasm for the retreat concept, outlines ideas for formats (workshops, seminars, live Q&A), emphasizes the value of peer learning and networking, and signals a commitment to explore feasibility, audience interest, and potential planning timelines.
When people are jealous of financial wins
Q: Hey Britt, would love to know, how do you go about celebrating financial success without staff or people around you getting jealous?
I acknowledge that money changes relationships and suggest practical approaches: celebrate with the right people, keep staff informed but avoid implying personal gain, and choose forms of celebration that don't hinge on the exact dollar amount. Over time, as the business matures, you'll feel less pressure to downplay achievements and can celebrate in a way that feels authentic and respectful to the team.
