  • It never ends

How are they able to find dreadful films and provide fresh commentary after so many years?! You’ll get a master course on shade and how to develop a plot by following their self-abuse.

  • My favourite movie podcast, by a long mile.

Focusing reviews on bad gay movies, has never been funnier.

The hosts know their stuff and manage to not only be hilarious, but insightful with a broad knowledge of cinema that throws really fascinating curveballs from time to time.

They bring you along for each episode and you can’t help but feel like you’ve got buddies in the room with you, and over period of 2020 / 2021, it’s never been more welcome.

Thanks for the laughs guys, and for expanding my wish list if dodgy movies to watch (yes, ... more

  • Funny, witty, intelligent!

I stumbled onto this show and love listening! The three men are funny yet very knowledgeable about film. I love hearing them review movies I have seen and come away with new insights. I tend to laugh out loud many times at their comments! Highly recommended!

  • It’s all over the place

Why have a podcast about movies they clearly didn’t pay attention to enough to talk about it.

They jump all over the place with with their comments and often don’t remember what/they’re talking about making it hard to follow

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 208: They/Them with Adam Bailey
Q: Adam, what inspired you to choose this film?
I wanted a movie I was guaranteed not to defend, and as a horror aficionado, this movie seemed like a good pick.
Episode 206: The Baby with Annemieke Wade
Q: Why did we choose this movie?
We chose it because Annemieke is a mother and we thought she would relate.
Episode 184: Mannequin with Ryan Porter
Q: Do you remember how you felt the first time you saw that character as a sort of gay hysteric?
I remember being maybe a little bit weirded out. I don't think I recognized that as me, but I thought that was more the life that I wanted to live.
Episode 184: Mannequin with Ryan Porter
Q: Tell me, you chose this film to talk about today. So please tell me why it is that you felt inspired to talk about Mannequin from 1987.
Mannequin, like a true video store classic, really captures 80s mall glamour and the story of a man who falls in love with an enchanted mannequin who comes to life, but only he can see her.
Episode 186: Saltburn with Ryan G. Hinds and Gregory Rosebrugh
Q: Tell us, Ryan, give us the final word on that.
I'm here for the villains. People of color are just as sneaky and gross and badly behaved as everybody else.
