  • It’s a must for gay couples

Wonderfully honest conversations about the modern gay man and the challenges and joys of being in an open relationship. Their discussions have made me feel “seen” ( I know that term is overused but it truly describes how I felt after listening to this podcast after just one episode). And there really is no judgment on topics that most people would never discuss with “polite company”. My bf and I will pause the podcast and discuss how we feel about the topic and have grown our relationship so m... more

  • Navigating Fatherhood and Life

Thank you for stopping us at Pride in NYC in 2024! We have listened ever since and it’s great to hear from different dads and daddies navigating fatherhood and life. It’s easy to lose yourself when you become a dad and as we age, but we are loving the episodes and real talk.

  • “The Karen and Georgia of being gay”

These men are genuine, hilarious and kind (not to mention sexy). They bring relevant points of view and shed light on what can sometimes feel like a shady topic (some self inflicted shade and some externally inflicted). They are your best friends, your confidants, your gay uncles, your hot hookups, your dads and your daddies. Bravo, boys.

Q: What do you do when someone you are engaging with has an open sore?
It's important to prioritize your own health, and if you see something concerning, it's okay to stop. If you're comfortable, you could mention it to them afterward, but ultimately, your health comes first.
Brian and Judson hookup with Dr. Demetre Daskalakis and talk his fiery resignation from the CDC, his return to the front lines in NYC, the meaning of his pentagram tattoo, his thoughts on questions from our listeners, and much more
Q: How do you deal with conversations around STDs?
As someone who has caught an STI, I share that information with my husband, and we both understand that we are in an open marriage. We take care of any STIs, and it's important to talk about that openly to diffuse any shame around it.
Brian and Judson hookup with Jay Jurden and talk sex positivity, the importance of queer stand-up, being proudly bisexual and gay X-Men
Q: What is your daddy issue?
My daddy issue right now, I have had my first gray chest hair and it happened recently. I haven't moved in the gray pubes yet. I already have some grays on the side. So when you're a comic and I'm post 35, it's actually a blessing to have a sprinkle of gray because audiences respect your opinions more.
Brian and Judson present their third Go Ask Your Dad Extravaganza
Q: How do I share that with him and communicate that a little bit better?
It's important for me, regardless of what I'm feeling at that moment, to check in with my spouse, see how he's doing, see what kind of fun he's having, and voice if I'm not having a great time, so I can leave if needed.
Friendly Fire with Brian and Judson, Vol. 3
Q: One thing we are working on first is making sure we have a solid foundation of communication and trust. Along with that comes our love language. We would love to hear y'all's perspective on the love languages and how they can play a role in an open or even a poly relationship.
Understanding love languages is crucial in an open relationship, as it allows partners to communicate their feelings and needs effectively. Even without a match, recognizing how you and your partner prefer to give and receive love enhances the emotional connection and trust.
