This podcast is on of my favorite podcasts. The goofiness, wisdom, mission is just so present when you listen. The men and speakers on here are so on fire for Jesus and His mission for the church. Aaron, Dan, Brad and the rest of the Beyond Damascus team , thank you for doing what you do!
This is seriously such a great podcast! No matter what your mission field is, it’ll fire you up to serve Jesus and those He puts in your path! I love the maturity of the hosts - they bring a breath of fresh air to a Church that too often focuses on what divides rather than on what unites. Listening to Beyond Damascus actually inspired me to go on a retreat at Damascus, which was superb. 11/10 recommend.
I’ve to CYSC Great Lakes twice before, and always remember the great talks that were given and had stuck with me for life. I really enjoy being able to get that same experience every day with this podcast!
Very applicable. I am in Encounter and it helps me to listen here too!
Great content! Aaron is always so witty!

This show centers on Catholic mission work, youth and family formation, and authentic discipleship in everyday life. Episodes combine long-form conversations, roundtables, and practical ministry guidance, often anchored in mission-based outreach, personal faith journeys, and practical tools for living out Gospel values with courage and vulnerability. A standout theme is experiential formation—through camps, hospitality, and relational accompaniment—that aims to transform individuals into missionary disciples who bring that encounter to others. The mix of guests from religious orders, missionary networks, and youth-ministry leaders adds a distinctive, mission-driven perspective that appeals to listeners involved in or aspiring to Catholic ou... more
